Mandaluyong City Sanitary-Plumbing Permit Application Form and Checklist for 2020

In hopes of checking how ready we are to finally get a Building Permit for our soon-to-rise two-story building, we offered a visit to the City Engineering Department of the Local Government of Mandaluyong. Upon looking at the checklist of requirements for issuing a Building Permit, we noticed that there were a bunch of Technical Documents or Permits we have to acquire before actually completing the requirements for a Building Permit. One of which is the Sanitary/Plumbing Permit, to which the requirements are divided into three as shown below:

Requirements for Sanitary/Plumbing Permit as per Sec. 302 BP 1096 & RNPC

  1. Filled Sanitary/Plumbing Application Form (including fixtures to be installed)
  2. Photocopy of PTR/PRC of Design and In-charge (Sanitary Engr. or Reg. Master Plumber)
  3. 5 sets of Plumbing/Sanitary Plans with Sign and Seal of SE/RMP

Sec. 302.8 PD 1096 Sanitary Documents

For deep well, water purification plants, water collection and distribution system, reservoirs, drainage and water systems, sewage/water treatment plants, malaria control structures, and sewage disposal system:

  1. Location Plan and Site Plan
  2. Detailed Plan and Layout
  3. Design Analysis and Technical Specifications
  4. Cost Estimate

Sec. 302.9 PD 1096 Plumbing Documents

For all plumbing installations, addition and/or alteration involving hot or cold water supply, fixtures, sewage drainage and vent system, storm drainage and sewerage system within or adjacent within or adjacent to the building:

  1. Location Plan and Site Plan of Minimum Scale 1:2000
  2. Plumbing Plans, Layouts, and Details of minimum scale of 1:50
  3. Legend and General Notes
  4. Isometric Drawings of the Systems
  5. Design Analysis and Technical Specifications

Sec. 1011 RNPC Provision of Grease Trap and Grease Interceptor (commercial such as restaurants, etc.)

Note: Septic Tank shall be located at least 1.5m from the adjoining private property and complies with “Annex E “of RNPC

Along with the Mechanical Permit and Electrical Permit, the Sanitary/Plumbing Permit completes three of the required Technical Documents for the issuance of a Building Permit.
